VACCINATION REQUIREMENTS FOR DOGS & CATS

*Vaccinations must be current and must be at least two weeks prior to boarding.
*Please upload or bring current medical records to show proof of the following:

Dogs and puppies:

• Proof of current vaccinations for DHPP (Distemper, Canine Adenovirus type 2, Parainfluenza and Parvovirus), Rabies and Bordetella (vaccination against kennel cough) is required.
• Titre tests are accepted for Distemper/Parvo and Rabies.
• Puppies must have their 3rd (or equivalent) set of shots.
• Flea Control (recommended from June to November)
• Heartworm Protection (recommended from June to November)

Cats:

• Proof of current vaccinations for FVRCP (Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis, Calicivirus, Panleukopenia) and Rabies.
• Flea Control (recommended from June to November)
• Must be litter box trained

OTHER REQUIREMENTS

1. Your pet should be free of fleas/lice/mites. Pets are inspected at check-in. If infestation is present, a mandatory flea bath is required and at owner’s expense.
2. Your pet should not be exposed to any transmissible illnesses 30 days prior to check-in.
3. Please make sure to check for fleas and ticks prior to Boarding and/or Daycare.
   1. Effective February 1, 2018, we will now be doing a flea inspection to all pets upon arrival at no charge to you.
   2. If infestation is present, we will notify you so that we can come up with the best possible solution.
   3. If infestation is present, you can arrange for the pet(s) to be picked-up. If this option is not possible, a mandatory flea bath is required as well as flea treatment prescribed by a veterinarian at owner’s expense.
   4. If infestation is present, the pet(s) will be treated immediately but will have to remain secluded from other pets for the duration of the visit.

EMERGENCIES

We have a fully quarantined “sick bay” area. Our first line of defense is to get in touch with you. If we cannot, we will seek out the veterinarian you have provided us with, at your expense. If after hour care is needed, we will bring your pet to an after hour emergency veterinary clinic; charges will apply.
